Don’t F*CK up the planet

We all share one planet and regardless of whether or not we'll ever get another one we have to do whatever we can to help keep this one habitable, clean, and beautiful. We're trying to do our part. All of our orders are sent using carbon neutral shipping. It means that each time we ship a package, we (no, not you, we don't pass this cost along, cause that'd be f****ing rude) pay a little extra to the carrier to purchase carbon offsets on our behalf which support carbon reducing activities. Plastic is an ugly word these days, and we agree, I mean that s**t’s everywhere! While we can’t immediately stop the use of all plastic, we’re determined to limit the use. We’re conscious of our materials and try to do things a bit differently. We purchase excess packaging from suppliers, meaning that the packaging you just received would have likely ended up in a landfill before ever having been used. What does this mean for you? Well it means that the container you receive may be different from time to time! The product or quality doesn’t change (it’s what’s on the inside that counts anyway right?). Regardless of the packaging it’s all completely recyclable!

No fancy, unnecessary packaging or other pretty s**t here! We think it’s wasteful, so we use simple kraft boxes with plain paper filler to help reduce our footprint. It’s all 100% recyclable, and let’s be honest you don’t actually care if our name is on the box anyway 🙁

Not your mothers Moisturizer

Nothing against mom's, they're all amazing, beautiful and unbreakable. The list goes on and on! We love our mother's and have the utmost respect for each and every one of them! We just don't want to be compared to them when discussing moisturization routines. When chatting with other tattooed lovers about what they use for their work after healing, the words "ointment", or "thick moisturizer" inevitably come up. Well we can't stand the feel of that s**t on our skin, so we came up with a light moisturizer that helps keep your skin moisturized and doesn't make us feel like a sticky mess. We feel sticky and uncomfortable just thinking about applying ointment and covering up and since we're pretty sure it's illegal to run the streets with nothing on, this feels like a pretty good compromise!

Aside from choosing something you won't immediately regret, one of the most important aspects of the tattoo process is the aftercare. It's important that once your tattoo is fully healed that it be properly hydrated and maintained. Our moisturizer was developed to feel smooth, clean and light on your skin. It's made to absorb quickly and keep your work nicely hydrated. Our product is unscented so there's less risk of irritation. UVIIA is made with wonderful ingredients including hyaluronic acid, Pea Peptide, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Sunflower Seed Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, & Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract. You can read more about these ingredients below. While we're not doctors and can't give any medical advice, here are some tips to help ensure your tattoo looks its best! If you notice your tattoo isn't properly healing or you feel like something is wrong, see your doctor immediately. Ask your tattoo professional how to properly care for your work. Keep your tattoo clean and avoid using fragrances. After your tattoo is healed, keep your skin moisturized. Don't scratch or pick at scabs, and lastly (or maybe firstly?), love your work, and love yourself!
